I work at daycare center. I've noticed that these caucasion women come in with thier mixed daughters (mixed meaning that the baby's daddy is black) and every like 5-8 months they take thier daughter and cut thier hair so so short and I just don't get why. I know that ebony or mixed hair is different from thier own, but does that really make it that big of a hassle??
Why do mothers cut their mixed baby's hair?
Yes most white women don't know how to do a normal black Lady's hair but it seems like mixed kids are extra dry and nappy and that's way to much for someone who doesn't know how to braid or do hair at all to handle. Its sad that they cut if of cuz there hair is really pretty but its even worse when they put a relaxer or texturizers on it and get rid of the curls.
Why do mothers cut their mixed baby's hair?
Well it depends on what type of hair texture the child has. Some caucasion women just need to ask a black women how can they manage their babies hair so it won't have to be a hassle.
