grow faster? thats wat my mom keeps telling me. but i think its just to get me to shut up and go to get my cut without complaining...ya i kniow, blah blah blah, youll get split ends, youll have unhealthy hair, i KNOW. but will it make my hair grow faster, the more trims i get?

Not necessarily.My mom used to tell me this all the time and then I asked my hairdresser. If you have split ends and you get a trim (which gets rid of your split ends) then it will grow faster. If your hair is healthy and you like the length then let it grow.

Trimming your hair regularly will make your hair grow faster...but if you do it all the time it won't.

Not necessarily. I used to trim my hair every 6 weeks and never really got much further in length. Everyones hair is different and some need trims every few weeks, where as others can go months before they need one. As long as your hair doesnt get dry, you shouldnt have a problem with the split ends. Also remember not to put your hair up in a tight ponytail when its wet. That can damage your hair as well.

I don't know about trimming, but cutting them really short, or shaving them, especially on the head, does tend to make them grow back quicker, and more in number. Provided you are eating a healthy diet and your hair get the nutrients as well. Hair also need food to grow.

No, I used to think this too. But when it's colder out, in winter, your hair will grow faster than when it's hot in summer.

no i dont believe that cuz ur hair doesnt grow for the ends it grows from the roots! trimming ur hair just makes ur hair look more healtheir but not make ur hair grow faster! hope this helps! :)
