i recently got a haircut, i terrible one it was not what i asked for AT ALL and it looks like sh*t on me. of course the salon seemed nice untill i came out of it so im looking for a new one. are there anyways too tell if a salon will be good before they cut your hair? or in my case ruin your hair.

Yes, speak to anyone you know who has a fantastic haircut, ask them where they go and more importantly who their individual hairdresser is. If they have the same hairtype as you i.e. straigt/curl/afro this is even more informative.
I wouldn't be too keen on beleiving salon reviews over the net because they can easily be filled in by their own staff or staff from a competitor salon.
Some salons that use the well known chain names and look fantastic inside are actually full of trainees that will only cut your hair in the styles that they know, not necessarily what suits your face shape or lifestyle so check the status of your hairdresser first.
