wat ive done in teh past is flip ur head upside down adn put it into a ponytail and the cut off a little bit from the top take ur hair down then keep on doing it little bits at a time util you like it

Flip your head upside down, twist your hair together into a ponytail, band tightly just above where you want to cut and go for it. Just make sure the scissors are sharp enough though, otherwise you'll just end up with a load of split ends. Have fun!
