i love women with long hair. it kills me to see that htey will cut their hair really short, to which sometimes, almost down to nothing. why?

I'm guessing you've never had long hair or lived in a warm climate. Long hair is a huge pain to take care of. It knots, it blows in your face, it gets dirty, it's hot, and all for what, so some bonehead can say it's pretty as he runs his grubby hands through it? Short hair is absolutely freeing, and I've been lucky enough to marry a man who likes short hair and respects my desire for comfort. I shaved my head for awhile, too, and that's even more of a relief.
