Why do little kids always get into scissors and cut there hair?

My little sister is 3 and she got a hold of some scissors and cut her hair all up. Why do you think little kids do this? Couriosity? Why cant they just cut paper?

The hair dresser does it why can't I? That's what my 4 year old said! I guess curiosity, and they can cut themselves without hurting. Kids are always scared to go the the barber shop at first because they think it will hurt but once they find out it doesn't hurt they have fun with it.

future hairstylist.... i cut my hair when i was 4 bc a taffy got stuck in it... y i didn't stop cutting it after i got the taffy out i don't know. LOL

a friend's kid once said she cut her hair bc she wanted it short and her mother wouldn't let her have it short bc she thought it wouldn't look right. after the kid had @ it with the scissors, she did end up takin her have it fixed..... she was 4 also

When I was young one day my mom was saying that school pics were coming and that she needed to get me and my sister haircuts. so I was trying to be a good daughter and help my mom out and save her some time and money. (mind you I was only about 6 or 7 and my sister was only 5 or 6) well, while my mom was in the shower, i started to cut my sisters bangs. I cut them high because I was trying to get them straight over and over again. when my mom came out, I was in trouble.

you sister is probably thinking that she wanted to see what it would look like short. or her friend that no one else can see told her to do it. why don't you ask her. stay calm and you will find out the truth. good luck.

my daughter was 2 1/2 when she cut all of her bangs off!! she looked so bad but she thought that she was beautiful. kids do crazy things. that was six mounts ago, they still haven't grown back in.
