That's funny, I didn't know I had another brother! Mom's in her 80s and we still go through this. Sometimes I let her go ahead so that she doesn't keep fussing at me, and I just try to block out the frequent "oops!" and "maybe if I do this.." noises from behind me. The way I look at it, it grows back and I can't see it anyway, so what the heck. Anyway, shaved heads are really in right now, apparently, so you've always got that to fall back on.

tell her it looks wierd, and your mom is doing the right thing, you dont know where the scizzors that the barber has have gone through, for example people may have head lice and he may have forgot to wash the hard to reach parts, or somebody may have gotten cut when getting their hair cut, causing blood to get on the scizzor which can carry diseases, just try to tell your mom how you want it cut,

The truth. Like like when she disagree with some clothes you may wear. I went through the same thing until I was twelve, that's when I learned to cut my own. If I made an error, I went ball for a couple of weeks but that's better than having a hairline that's in the middle of your skull. Tell her that gets harass you and since your older, you feel you can either go to the barber or cut you own hair, on your own without Mommy's help. if you're the baby, she's just having a hard time seeing her baby grow up and here's a clue, she will ALWAYS want to mother you, it's up to you if you allow it or not. Jut be truthful. Ask her, how many woman barbers do she see at the barber shop. tell you you think you'll like the way a man cut it rather than a woman. Sometimes you have to lie to woman when the truth may hurt. It shouldn't be that way but it's true because they have a hard time with dealing with things they don't want to hear
