Im getting my hair cut. I have straight, fine asian hair. Should i get it layered with the razor or

I want the length of my hair to be just below my shoulders. So should i tell the hairdresser to layer my hair using the razor or the scissors?

A razor cut and a scissor cut are the same cut, with a different tool. Like you can use colored pencils, or crayons on a picture. They make the same picture, but the texture is different. A razor cut is much more choppy, a scissor cut is more smooth and more blended. Hope that helps :)

it depends on the texture u want your hair to be. i would go fo razor if i wanted a "messy", "course" look without the need of much styling. and scissors for a neat, smooth layering .. and it also depends on whether your hair is thick or thin. if its thin, please do not layer it anymore. as layering causes your hair to be thinner.

i nva heard of the razor b4 haha. everytime i cut my hair the auntie will jus use scissors to layer it. bt layering makes tyin hair troublesome, bt it dun make the head flat.

You should keep it the same length because once they start going at it with a razor it's that length...I had long hair and got the "emo" look you know razored side swept bangs short razored layers...I LOVE it it's really cute! Anyway RAZORS work better....
