If you cut it to shoulder length, you can still tie it back and do plenty of other hair styles. If you cut it short, it might be fun for a while, but within a few weeks you'll get sick of it.

well it all depends if i was in yr positon i would go to a sallon and tell them not to put any chemical or products

tell them to just simply wash it and make it shorter

well if u are a boy look at some styles in the place

take it up to your shoulders and do some inside layering with a razor to put curl/wave into it. straight hair is going out soon and styled natural hair is coming IN; so be the first on your block to have the newest/greatest hair!

this way it isn't so thick you can't do anything with it, it's still long enough to pull up (and will stay up with the inside layering), you don't need to put anything in it unless you are going out on the town and want to 'dress it up' a little. the perfect cut for all occassions.
