According to my understanding, most girls really value their hair and consider it to by a major physical characteristic that determines their personality.

However, I think a girl's personality and attitude are the most important assest that she possess. Therefore, how many of you girls would be willing to cut your hair, change the color, grow it out to longer length or style it differently if a guy you were interested in wanted you to?

Also, would you be willing to change your hairstyle for your boyfriend or husband even if he didn't really like the new style that your romantic interest preferred?

Sometimes, we all have to make compromises in order to keep the romance going so how many of you girls would be willing to make a change if it would satisfy your partner?

the only way i would change my hair style would be to agree with his decision. i don't change for any one unless i agree with what they are saying and that is just who i am so unless i agreed there is no way.

Hunny, my man will know that I won't do things like that for them. I'm not into changing myself for no guy! He's gunna have to tkae me as I am, or ship out.

When my boyfriend and I first met, I had decided to start growing it long, since I always had it short. When we started dating, it had gotten pretty long, but it also became very knotted and damaged. He had seen me in pictures with short hair and asked me why I grew it out. I told him because I always cut it short and wanted to try something different. He suggested, that since my hair was so damaged, that it may be the right time to cut my hair short again. What he didn't know is that I had already talked to his sister about cutting it short. I like my hair short. Easier to manage and less damage.

I told my husband that if he got a vasectomy I would shave my head.

He didn't like that idea too much, but I thought it was a reasonable sacrifice on both our parts.

Seriously though, it's just hair.

I would never be in a relationship with anyone who was controlling to the point of making me change my hairstyle before he would love me. That's pretty pathetic.

When I decide to change my hair style or color, I do ask for my husband's input. He's the one who has to look at me everyday. I take his advice into consideration...he's the practical one. Keeps me from being too crazy. In the end though, I decide how my hair looks. If he doesn't like it, it will be different in a few months anyway. Not the end of the world, or our relationship.

If he asked me to try a new look, I'd do it. Mostly because I know it's only temporary and I can always change it.

Again, it's just hair.
